The obvious alternative is without a doubt the Microsoft Office Package - Microsoft is the 'office king of the world'. The same goes for quattro pro formats in this piece of software. So if, for example, you have previously used Microsoft Visio to create mindmaps, or something else, then you can specify when downloading that these files must also be open in the programs. We were unable to find a format that LibreOffice could not work with.
However, there is no need to worry, as there is ample opportunity to save LibreOffice files in a format that can be easily opened by Microsoft Office programs and vice versa. There are many who fear using an alternative to the Microsoft Office Package for fear of not being able to collaborate with friends 'and colleagues' documents. The program is a free open source program developed by an independent association. In LibreOffice you will find alternative programs for Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word, OneNote, etc.
