I certainly agree, something juicy and fried are one of the most delicious things you ever sink your teeth into! So I wouldn’t be so quick to conflate them with the big guns that DO do that stuff.Southern Fried Pork Chops were a staple at my house growing up! Actually, I think most people often think of "fried" as the perfect synonym for southern. They couldn’t have possibly guessed they’d see this much success and be able to add these cool updates. Now if you wanna talk about, idk, Blizzard and their like 3 or 4 or whatever versions of Diablo IV, that’s a legitimate complaint. You’re projecting pre-order bonus garbage onto an indie studio that just got lucky with runaway success. Dredge didn’t really do any of that stuff or have any of those problems. I think your issue is more with AAA publishers, my dude. You and I might miss out, but others won’t, and that’s nice. It’s wonderful that they were so successful they CAN go back and put this stuff in. They can only fit what time and budget allows. It would have been nice if this stuff was there from the get go! But that’s the nature of small indie productions. I can’t wait to see more from these devs, personally. But it’s fantastic they did it and I’m really happy to hear they’re still making content, you know? If they continue to have success and bring new players in, great. I guess that’s understandable! I already beat it a while ago myself and don’t know if I will replay it for the new stuff. I appreciate that you’re willing to hear and reflect on why it landed so poorly, lol. Okay, well, that’s more reasonable than I expected.
